Quick answerAWeber Lite allows 3 email automations, 3 landing pages and 3 users, with no cap on Plus, while MailerLite Free allows 3 automations and Comfort 50; both offer a 14-day trial.

The practical difference

AWeber sells two main plans. Lite includes 1 email list, 3 landing pages, 3 email automations, 3 users and 1 custom segment, and sends up to ten times your subscriber count a month. Automation and pages

MailerLite counts active automations: 3 on Free, 50 on Comfort and unlimited on Power. Websites and landing pages are 1 of each on Free, 10 in total on Comfort and unlimited on Power. So AWeber Lite and MailerLite Free start at the same 3 automations; on the paid side, Comfort stops at 50 and AWeber Plus has no cap.

Sending limits

MailerLite Comfort sends ten times the top of your subscriber tier each month, the same multiple as AWeber Lite, and Power is unlimited under a fair use policy. MailerLite Free sends 2,500 emails a month to up to 250 subscribers.

Cost

Billed monthly at 1,000 subscribers, MailerLite Comfort is $19 a month and Power $39. AWeber's prices are on its pricing page; this guide gives none.

Moving a list

AWeber lists a free account migration service. MailerLite promises no migration service; it imports a CSV from another platform, and its trial includes 14 days of 24/7 live chat and email support. Import only people who opted in.

Which option should you choose?

Choose AWeber Plus if you want unlimited automations and landing pages on one plan and a migration done for you. Choose MailerLite if you want to start free under 250 subscribers, or need 50 automations and paid newsletters on Comfort.

MailerLite's half of the comparison can be tested for 14 days with premium features unlocked.
