MailerLite vs Moosend: prices at 1,000 contacts and trials

Moosend and MailerLite side by side

Where the two differ first

As read on October 6, 2026, Moosend Pro is $16 a month billed monthly at 1,000 contacts and MailerLite Comfort is $19 a month billed monthly at 1,000 subscribers; Moosend offers a 30-day free trial and no free plan, MailerLite a Free plan for 250 subscribers. Moosend's pricing page also says it is now a Constant Contact company.

Both bill by people rather than sends: Moosend counts unique email addresses, so an address in several lists is billed once, and MailerLite counts unique active subscribers across a billing cycle.

Prices at 500 to 10,000 contacts

Billed monthly, Moosend Pro is $9 a month at 500 contacts, $16 at 1,000, $48 at 5,000 and $88 at 10,000; MailerLite Comfort is $12 a month at 500 subscribers, $19 at 1,000, $49 at 5,000 and $89 at 10,000. Billed yearly at 1,000, Moosend Pro is $13 a month and MailerLite Comfort $17.10 a month ($205.20 a year).

Moosend Pro includes 5 team members, against 3 seats on MailerLite Comfort and unlimited seats on Power. Moosend has no free plan; its pricing page says "Try core features with a 30-day free trial, no credit card required." MailerLite's Free plan covers up to 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails a month.

What each trial lets you test

MailerLite's 14-day trial unlocks premium features from both Comfort and Power with no card, but is limited to 250 subscribers and 2,500 emails and leaves out seven paid features, among them unlimited sending and custom domains. Moosend's 30-day trial allows unlimited sends for up to 1,000 contacts, one published automation workflow, 2 team members, and a form and landing page that stay unpublished.

So test the automation you need most in each trial, and publish forms and pages in MailerLite, where Free keeps 3 forms and 1 landing page after the trial ends.

Which to choose

Choose Moosend if you will pay from the start: Moosend Pro costs less than MailerLite Comfort at each list size above, and Moosend sells email credits that never expire for occasional sends. Choose MailerLite if you want to start free under 250 subscribers, or need a website, landing pages and paid newsletters in the same account (paid newsletters need Comfort or Power).

Nonprofits get 30% off MailerLite's paid plans with proof of status, and 25% off Moosend on top of its yearly discount.
